Monkey species

Is there any chance you'll add more classification details for the monkeys? Pretty sure I keep running across mangabeys.

We got this feedback during the beta test... We used to just have "other," but we added "other - primate" (and "other - non-primate") based on that feedback. All monkeys, lemurs, lorises, etc. can go under "other - primate" ... that's all the team needs to know! 😃

We want to avoid having too many classification options, because folks get confused and overwhelmed.

I understand the need to simplify the classification. I want to know what the common, predominantly grey monkey with the long tails are?

Those sound like mangabeys, if you post a link we can tell for sure.

Those are almost certainly mangabeys - sooty mangabeys if you're in West Africa, agile mangabeys if you're in Central Africa.
