What is this guy holding?

    Just saw this video, it's quite eerie. I was just trying to figure out what this guy is holding, it almost looks like a gun, or maybe a walking stick of some kind?

    Yes to me too. There are two groups of people carrying guns in the forest. The first is poachers. Unfortunately at almost all of the sites there is poaching (and when there is not, then there is snaring). The second, is that at some of our site, our teams are required to take ecoguards in with them for their own protection (against poachers or armed militia). It may be in this case that this is an ecoguard escorting one of our teams to check the cameras, but I am not 100% sure.
