Small grey duiker with an odd bump at the ear

@midnightsun wanted to know what this reddish thing on the head of this duiker is and asked if a tumor or something like it.
It certainly doesn't look normal. Any ideas?Posted

I think what we are seeing here is just the sun shining through the thinner pink tissue of the duiker's ear. We don't often see the animals in full sun in the shady forest and so it looks unusual.

It does look odd & could still be a bump though. Just my opinion that it's a sunlight effect ๐

Iยดm pretty sure itยดs a sunlight effect. Such a big bulge would be a bit heavy (and painful) and the ear would hang down a bit ๐ .Besides, the color intensity changes as it walks through light-shadow.
