Hi @Snorticus, that sounds like a Long-Tailed Glossy Starling (Lamprotornis caudatus) to me. It's a very common sound to hear in drier woodland 😃

Great that you recognized the sound! I'd definitely say it was birds but couldn't say much more about it.

Funny. We have tons of starlings in Texas where I live and when you walk outside when they are flocking it sounds just like this!
