Female young chimp?

  • Perlo121 by Perlo121

This is my first chimp - I think it is a young, lone female. She seems to be turning up the stones, perhaps to find something edible underneath. Is that a correct analysis?

very nice clip! I agree she's a young female. and she seems to be using a little twig to eat something. I'd guess ant fishing, but just a guess. very interesting!

I agree, It looks like she is dipping a tool to gather something. The food resource could be social insects such as termites (they can build underground nests)
