Male crossing a stream, ID unlikely

  • jwidness by jwidness moderator

Two clips of a big male crossing a stream found by Snorticus:
    ACP0003lc2 ACP0003lc3

I doubt we'll be able to ID him -- I only mention it because he seems to maybe have a spot inside his left leg: enter image description here

Other than that, he's got a grey lower back and a normal right ear. I actually think the spot on his leg might just be a leaf or something. Anyway, I put him in the spreadsheet.

It is actually a duplicate to ACP0003lgi and ACP0003lgj, I think.

    yes, they are duplicates...

I think it´s just a leaf, no meaningful trait 😦

just a thought: isn´t it interesting the chimps testicle size? if you compare them with gorillas or even with humans, chimps have very large testicles. The reason for this is sperm competition due to their mating polyandrous nature...

    interesting 😃

I completely agree -- in fact, just a few days ago I had this discussion on the chat board: http://talk.chimpandsee.org/#/boards/BCP000000c/discussions/DCP00007ln : )
