Chimp vocalization

    Not so much for ID (only one male), but I find the vocalization interesting and the juvenile in the last video stays with the adult male briefly. ACP0005vdz (maybe @akalan can say something about the grunts(?) or barking(?) and who is vocalizing (I guess not the male on the ground traveling) and why. Juvenile in the tree. Then another male, a female, and a juvenile. Videos found by @Orohena

    ACP0005ve0, ACP0005ve1, ACP0005ve2

    Male with white-spotted beard, slightly arched brows, little balding, right ear ok, left: not sure, gray lower back.

    Juvenile seems to whimper a bit.

    From @AnLand's set with the spotted beard guy (he's on the right in the first image), there is another male passing through I think might be a match for this one. ACP0005uy3

    Previews aren't great, but the video is a little better. He's quite robust, big head, dark face except for a lighter bit around his mouth, fairly straight brows, a little balding in the middle above the brows, big dark ears, lots of yellow-grey down his back and legs, fluffy hair. He's eating, so his mouth looks a bit distorted 😕

    Hi all,
    about the vocalization it could be a "food sound", they do it when they feed, especially if they just found the food or they really like it. @akalan what do you think?

    About the match between male ACP0005ve1 and ACP0005uy3, maybe is because of the light difference, but the second one seems a little bit more robust that the first one.

    I am going to put them in the prospective list as LSMale02 ( ACP0005ve1) and LSMale03 ( ACP0005uy3).

    Let's think a little more about this match...
