Jazz--Female with an ear fold

    I just copy here yesterday's posting, because it might not be clever to just attach them to another chimp's thread.

    We could take the other female (I think) as a new chimp. Quite dark face, right ear seems to have a fold. Travels fast, so I cannot say much more now. Some baldness, big nostrils. ACP000ceyc

    Well, she might be the same new female. Ear fold seen in video. ACP000cewp Other traits fit. (Same video with Emery sitting and before with Yeye ACP000cewo)

    And this too: ACP000ceuz - ear fold is briefly seen in video. And she has a beautiful face with rounded brows. The left ear seems to be small and also a bit irregular. Slightly whitish beard. (She looks here a bit slimmer, but perspective is different and we see more from her lower body than in both other proposed videos.

    One more in the rain. ACP000bzsf - And the question, what is going on with the following female and juvenile. It whimpers, she holds out her foot and the juvenile is touching her swelling? (And wow, has she elfin ears and a grin! Picture below.) And last maybe followed by RSMale02. Edit: and first chimp to see might be RSMale07, the cone-shaped head one.

    This video might be Presidente (first) followed by Jazz (second). Jazz' lips looks a bit more pinkish, but my feeling is that it's her and I think, I see the earfold from the distance. ACP000cf2u and ACP000cf2w

    I am not 100% sure here, but this ACP000c9l9 might be Jazz. Baldness, body build, swelling seem to agree.

    ACP000cf1c and ACP000ce3c - I agree and tagged Jazz. ACP000c9l9 - might be her but I am also not sure. Swelling looks differently shaped to me.

    Jazz has a small bald spot on her left shoulder/upper back. You can see it in ACP000cf1c and (with some difficulty) in ACP000bn3n.

    With that in mind, I think we can confirm both ACP000cbwd and ACP000cc2t, which were already suggested as Jazz, and we can add ACP000cn5k and ACP000btae as well.

    I agree and would tag these if people agree. Anyone have thoughts on ACP000c9l9? I am really not sure either way.

    I agree that the swelling in ACP000c9l9 looks different - a bit fringy with more loose skin that we've seen in Jazz before. The only other idea (based on dark fur, pronounced baldness, and no kid) that I have would be Swing. The short face view at least does not disagree.

    ACP000cbwd, ACP000cc2t, ACP000cn5k and ACP000btae - I have now added the Jazz tag. For ACP000c9l9, I agree that Swing could be a good option. The facial features fit, with both having a broad nose and a triangular bald patch. Also, Swing's swelling has a mottled coloration so does this female's.

    To me the female in ACP000c9l9 does not really look like Swing. I can't place her at the moment but I'm really hesitant about her being Swing.

    Yep, I agree about Jazz in ACP000bwak. Face and swelling look like a straightforward match. I propose tagging unless anyone objects or has other ideas.

    As for ACP000c9l9, I have given this female the temp ID RSFem19 for now. I would still vote for her being Swing but other opinions are welcome! 😃

    Okay, I tagged Jazz in the videos discussed above: ACP000cf20, ACP000ceeo, ACP000bg7f, ACP000bg7h, ACP000c4jc

    Does anyone have thoughts on ACP000ca7e? @jwidness - maybe you can explain a bit why you think it's her there? It's a bit of a tricky one and it might help us assess the similarity in traits.

    ACP000ceg7 and ACP000ce83 should both be Jazz, though 7 seconds are missing in between due to camera reset. From the other cam is ACP000cf43, which covers a little more of those 7 seconds, if that makes sense.

    Yup, that appears to be Jazz! For simplicity I have tagged her in all 3 -- further input and other suggestions welcome!

    As for ACP000ca7e , sorry but I find it too tricky. I have been trying to find a pair camera and see if I got a better look of her, but nope 😦 . If I had to decide here, I would just reject this proposal.

    But @jwidness, maybe you had a good reason to propose her?

    We identified Jazz in ACP000buzd with a facial view, but we also see her max_swelling. In ACP000buyf / ACP000buyg - just a couple of days before - we see a very similar swelling. Might this be Jazz again? In front of her several other unidentified chimps, directly before her - I think - is Emery (last in ACP000buye)
