How exciting! @boleyn find an amazing clip with a nutcracking chimp ACP000fw68, and here is the next one with tool-using female with a "helping infant" ACP000fw69. I can nt stop looking at them 😃

    Hi!

the chimp from ACP000fw68, looks more like a male subadult-juvenile to me.

Do you agree if we add him as AVJuv01?

    thanks 😉

Yes, I saw it later, that he is the same chimp in this long nut-working sequence. I had a problem to define his age. We have: infant, juvenile (youth?) , but I thought like you, that he is not a real juvenile anymore, btw at the edge to beeing a young adult. How do you solve this? Or is it not relevnt? In zhis case I found it relevant, because I thought in tool-using they have to learn a long time ...

This stage is a little bit confusing, and actually is up to us to decide how to classify them.

That happened before with Fry from Crimson Dew. he was classified as "juvenile" twice and as "sub-adult" once, but as we don't have sub-adult group, we finally kept him in the juvenile group, but with a comment about that.
