Eleanor (AVJuv09)--weird left ear young female

  ACP000fwj3 Top of her left ear looks folded over or clipped off.

  She has a fairly straight brow, pale muzzle, long upper lip, ears stick out, slim body, she looks young to me. Sparse line of hair on inside right elbow.

  She has excellent tool use technique!

  ACP000fwgj looks like she may be the same individual. This is my first match proposal; am I suppose to make match suggestions in this thread, or just tag the video, or something else entirely...? Thanks!

  Hi @sydself Very cool find! Here is good so we can look at both ears. I agree with you that they are a match. Full series is really interesting: ACP000fwgh ACP000fwgj ACP000fwgl ACP000fwgo

  ACP000fwgj That ear looks very similar to AVJuv09 to me. Also the long upper lip and pale muzzle look alike and they are a similar size too.

  Do we have to see the same chimp on a different day or place for it to be considered a match found by @sydself ? The spread sheet lists ACP000fwgh as the 12th clip filmed on 12-20-2014 and ACP000fwj3 as the 39th clip filmed on that day so we see the same chimp with some time in between - or is it considered a part of a continuous set? (The timestamp is too white for me to read the exact times on the clips)

  We can consider a match when we find the same chimp in 2 different sequences.

  I think these videos ACP000fwgh ACP000fwgj ACP000fwgl ACP000fwgo are from 23/12/2014. Look this picture from ACP000fwgj

  

  I can not see well either the time stamp in the ACP000fwj3, but in the beginning looks like is from 25th.

  

  and in this video ACP000fwa1, that is form the same sequence of ACP000fwj3, also looks like from 25th

  

  So, if they are from 2 different days, we can consider a match

  Do you think that the second date is a 25?

  ACP000g7yv - I think this is Eleanor again. The damaged ear is not seen, but her bald forehead with the scar seems to be the same. Body size, straight brows etc. fit.

  The second juvenile in ACP000fog0 should be Eleanor, too. The baldness is well and seen, the damaged ear not very well. But it looks - especially in comparison with the other one - not normal. I cannot say more.

  Yes, sorry, I did misunderstand your comment that ACP000g4dk is AVJuv05 and with this, the question is already solved.

  I did look in ACP000ehzu (= AVJuv05) and agree. The ear isn't well seen, but the white spot/scar on her forehead is and all other traits (pronounced baldness, straight browline, pouty lips, and body size) are consistent.

  This in ACP000ebhc should be Eleanor. It's a female juvenile and the damaged left ear is very well seen and the baldness partly, too. Size fits.

  The big juvenile stretched out on the log should be Eleanor, too.

  In this first sequence is the bald head with spot/scar well seen. ACP000emlk / ACP000emll / ACP000emlm / ACP000emln

  

  In the continuation is her left ear damage a bit visible, so I believe it is still her. ACP000emjw / ACP000emjx / ACP000emjy / ACP000emjz. In ACP000emjy is also her balding and the spot/scar visible when she looks into the camera direction.

  There is not much seen, but I think ACP000eduz is Eleanor - the left ear is clearly damaged in the way Eleanor's is.

  Do we think that Eleanor is already cycling? In the official list appeared this video ACP000g3fr and it could be Eleanor. The swelling is not big enough for Lya and Sabirah is still a bit younger, right? There seems to be enough baldness to be consistent with Eleanor.

  Can we check if the date of this video ACP000g3fr you are asking about @AnLand showing the year 2012 is correct? If it is it can certainly not be Eleanor. It's not in the spreadsheet yet so I can't look there....

  Right, hm, I thought whether this one is too small and with a darker face than Marlyn. So, then I think it's Etta's infant with the round eyes. That was my second choice. 😉

  It's actually hard to compare the body sizes, but it looks considerably smaller than Kamala. Is Etta around in that scene?

  I agree to ACP000fucj but I'm not sure about ACP000fv1l She seems to be a lot bigger in ACP000fucj . Even if there is half a year between could she grow so muc in this time? But maybe the angle is playing tricks on my eyes.

  In ACP000fua7 and ACP000fu69 both seem to look like Eleanor or at least what I can distinguish as Eleanor's ears and bald spot.

  I don't see a big difference between ACP000fucj and ACP000fv1l sizes, but maybe it is me. Anyway, if we are not sure about ACP000fv1l it is fine, I will add her to the chimp list as a prospective chimp.

  As for ACP000fv1k , I´m not that sure if the juvenile (AVJuv09b) is Eleanor. Size fit, and baldpatch could fit too. But I´m not sure if I can see Eleanor´s head scar or if it is actually a light effect 😕

  Eleanor was confirmed in ACP000fucj, so it should be also tagged in ACP000fuck

  It's a female and the balding fits, so yes, I think it's Eleanor 😃

  Could the couple in front be Desta and Azize? I could imagine Desta's "messy" swelling looking like this when it's at its max. Additionally the brows and camera reaction of the infant are quite typical for Azize.
