Sorry @Zinkies but I don´t see what you mean by pooping here...I see no poop o_o
but answering to your question about elephants pooping in water, yes, it´s a very common behaviour. Some say that it is more common in Asian eles than in African eles, but I have found no scientific evidence for this...
you will find plenty of youtube videos of eles defecating in water 😃
