Elephant with bad ear injury

  @Orohena found this sad clip of a badly injured elephant.

  I think it's a male but I'm not 100% sure. It's like he wanted to show it to the cam and asking for help. It must hurt like hell. Poor guy, this makes me really sad.

  Could it be from a fight - against whomever...?

  You described it well, watching this poor guy coming towards the camera, showing his or her left ear and looking back at us is heartbreaking!

  Oh no way!! poor thing!

  it looks like a male. It could have been a fight, a cut infected...who knows? sorry, I can´t know it for sure. Ele. ears are very sensitive, the skin is 1.8 mm. thick (compare to the skin on the back, 3.2 cm.).

  it is really hearbreaking 😦
